Uapé - cover

Work, self esteem, love relationships ... A young artist finds herself pressured by the insecurities of adult life. However, the unexpected visit of a lunar entity can give her the motivation she needed!

This story is inspired by the folk legend of Victoria Amazonica, which narrates about Naiá, an indigenous female warrior who falls in love with the moon Goddess Jaci and wishes to be transformed into a star by her. On a fateful night, Naiá tries to reach the reflection of the moon on the lake but ends up drowning. Touched by the young woman’s sacrifice, Jaci turns her into the star of the waters: the Victoria Amazonica.

Victoria Amazonica, also named Irupé, Aguapé and Uapé is an aquatic plant native from the Amazonas. Beautiful and majestic, its flower closes pink with sunlight and blooms white at night.
